Chinese Antique Altar Table

19th Century Antique Chinese Altar Table Hutao Mu (walnut wood). This is a very special small altar table that would be used as a stand, shrine, and or hold special items or display them.  A Hutao Mu (walnut wood) scholars small altar table with two draws having cross over hardware. Carved spandrels to the sides with lower apron. A very specail collectable antique Chinese small table. A piece of this nature would have been used possibly as a stand or seat for a Buddha statue and or a specail object to be on display. This table is from Shanxi Province China and dates Qing Dynasty 1840 or about.
