Antique Indian Bench Trunk

Antique Rustic Indian Bench Trunk, Dowry trunk.  This bench seat said to be a old Tax collectors bench from 1800. Serving as both seat and a storage trunk made of old growth teak with iron work all round front and back. Spiral carved railing under the arm rest. Can accommodate blanket or foldable items such as linens inside. The seat is deep and makes a good bench seat. A cushion cold be added for additional comfort. Very solid and strong. In good rustic condition. The teak wood is old growth being very dense. Great for a hall bench.
